The Obligatory Bio
Noomi Rapace (née Norén, born 28 December 28, 1979 in Hudiksvall) is a Swedish actress. Her father was Rogelio Durán, a Spanish cantaor (Flamenco singer) from Badajoz. She spent her childhood in Järna and then in Flúðir, Iceland. She lived with her mother and stepfather at Flúðir when she was 5–8 years old and at the age of seven, she was given a non-speaking part in the film Í skugga hrafnsins by Hrafn Gunnlaugsson. This experience made her decide to be an actress. In 1996, she made her TV debut playing the part of Lucinda Gonzales in the TV series Tre kronor. From 1998 to 1999, Rapace studied at Skara Skolscen. She has been engaged at Theater Plaza 2000–2001, Orionteatern 2001, Teater Galeasen 2002, Stockholms stadsteater in 2003 as well as at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. Noomi Rapace is married to the actor Ola Rapace.

But from your oblig bio above, she just now turned “30″ ?!?!!?!??!? [ Totally AMAZING. ]
whoKnew, already; are you sure that bio is korrect, born not 1989, instead of 1979 ?!?

Quite sure, it says so both on Wikipedia and IMDB. But she is rather age-less (still). Same quality I guess, as being able to look both very beautiful and very ugly (as Salander). The hallmarks of a great actress: versatility!

Wonderful performance Noomi.
Poor subtitles on the screen with too much white background making it almost impossible to read!
For those people not speaking Swedish, a very poor quality of direction, making this picture only a passable movie.
The actors were very good but the dialogue was as I said too hard to comprehend.

I was lucky enough to stumble onto Noomi’s movie:girl with the dragon tattoo.there is no doubt in my mind,she is going to make it big in the U.S.A !!!!!!! I am hooked,she is a great actress.she has pure beauty and talent.just got done watching:the girl that played with fire……. EXCELLENT ! what else can I say,about the movie.can’t wait to watch her 3rd installment: girl who kicked the hornets nest…… it’s like,she came out of nowhere.everyone that has watched her movies……thought she played the hell out of her role as ,Lisbeth!

Love Noomi to death but sometimes I get a bit confused about her role picking. I mean, from millenium series and Svinalängorna (Beyond) to upcoming sherlock holmes and Prometheus..? Well okay.. There was a big leap in genre from e.g. silence of the lambs to mask of zorro for sir anthony as well.. i just hope she’ll manage to keep up her credibility.
